Campaign Financial Services offers a wide range of financial services. We recognize that every campaign operation is different, and our team is dedicated to establishing the right financial arrangement for you. These general services will also be tailored to the unique needs of political action committees.

FEC Report Preparation and Submissions

CFS will prepare and submit all reports to the Federal Election Commission including Quarterly or Monthly Reports, Pre-Primary, 48 Hour Notices, Pre-General, Post-General, Statement of Organization and Statement of Candidacy filings.

Bookkeeping

CFS will manage all accounting functions. We prepare professionally generated checks for all vendors and political contributions, including candidate enclosure letters.

Payroll

We have on-site resources to process the payroll for an entire campaign staff.

Federal and State Taxes

CFS contracts with a Certified Public Accountant to offer federal and state tax services, including all filings and deposits.

Correspondence

CFS maintains all donor correspondence, including upholding the FEC’s “best efforts” statutes.

Thank You Letters

CFS will create and send professionally prepared thank you letters, signed by the candidate or Member.

Fast Turn Around

Since we are headquartered on Capitol Hill, we will happily generate and deliver checks with same day delivery for DC fundraisers and other functions.

Resources

We offer an abundance of resources to our candidates, Members, and their staff for campaign related activity. Telephone calls and facsimiles can be taken from our Carriage House. We invite all of our clients to use our facilities for activity off of federal grounds.

Financial Advisories

We provide regular reports updating the status of cash on hand, as well as receipts and disbursements on a weekly and/or monthly basis. We will also create a year end report with a full evaluation of the campaign’s fiscal progress, by fundraising event, if requested.

Regulatory

CFS serves as a liaison before the FEC and regulatory community to provide the campaign with answers to compliance inquiries.

Outside FEC Expert

As an option, we can run the campaign’s major FEC reports by an outside FEC expert for an additional fee.

Auditing

For new clients who might find themselves in need of auditing services to resolve previous accounting discrepancies, we provide independent auditing services for campaigns, party committees, and PACs. The fee structure for audits is hourly with a minimum guarantee based on an estimate of the volume.
